Vintage Seiko Quartz Chronograph 7T32-7B30

A nice classy Seiko Quartz Chronograph 7T32-7B30 completely restored to fully working condition, from 1982.

NOT AVAILABLE – A very nice Seiko Quartz Chronograph 7T32-7B30 completely restored to fully working condition.

Another classic among the 7T32 series of quartz chronographs from Seiko, this 7T32-7B30  Seiko Quartz Chronograph has been put through a bit of work in the past, and was slightly polished on the case and bezel, but all in all the work was done with care, still preserving the identity of the watch and donating to it a new lease of life.

The glass is scratch-free and pushers as well as crowns do not present ssigns of wear, appearing like brand new. The case back does show some marks, but nothing too dramatic. Small seconds and alarm hands are original and show no defects. The alarm chime is strong and clear and the date rings snaps into place without hesitation. All pushers are smooth to the pressure and both crowns are easy to operate and rotate easily. Last but not least, the strap is not otiginal, but can easily be replaced.

All functions work flawlessly: Chronograph and spit time are perfect. The watch, as with any other Seiko Chronograph, keeps excellent time. The chronograph seconds hand is not original, it was probably swapped frrom a similar, but not identical model part.

The Seiko 7T32-7B30 Quartz Chronograph presented here may be 34 years old, but apart some minor retouches still works strong and will be the faithful companion for many years to come. Perfect for a classic occasion, where understatement is the keyword, it can be used everyday without hesitation.

Things we like about this watch:

The dial is crisp, of a beautiful shiny black color, with applied hour marks and no sign whatsoever of damage. All the pushers are smooth and easy to operate, with excellent mechanical feedback.

Things we don’t like about this watch:

The case looks slightly overly polished on the lugs and the chronograph second hand is not original, having a golden tone to it, but all in all does not disturb the eye. Furthermore the lume on the minute hand is slightly darker than the hour hand lume and hour marks,
